Topic:  “Pray Always” by Rev. Gladys Moore. Lessons can be found in the June and July/August
 issues of LWT.  Everyone is welcome for inspiration and fellowship!

September Grace Women will begin a new year of study titled, “The People of God: Unity in the 
Midst of Diversity” by the Revs. Linda and Jensen Seyenkulo.  They have served as parish pastors,
educators, and administrators.  Monthly lessons are in LWT magazine.  Overview of 2010-2011 study
will be Saturday, September 25, 2010 at Immanuel Lutheran Church on Snelling Avenue in St. Paul.

LWT Extra copies of Lutheran Woman Today and past issues are on the library shelf.  Take one or 
more and enjoy the fine inspirational articles.  Cost for 10 issues is $12.00.  Call 1-800-328-4648 to

School supplies Merrick Community Services are no longer collecting school supplies.  They 
expressed their appreciation for our generosity in the past years.  Please continue regular 
donations of food, as the need goes on.

Grace Women of ELCA  A reminder that every woman of Grace is a member of Grace WELCA.  
Share the skills and talents you are blessed with and help us carry on God’s work in this corner 
of His Kingdom.  Regular Bible Study, collecting for LWR, making quilts, serving as secret prayer
partners for our Confirmands, providing for Sunday coffee and funeral receptions.  It’s what we do.
Come August 12 to summer Bible Study and find a welcoming place at the table.

Mission 2010 Layettes  Check garage sales for clean used items.  A tear-off list can be found on the
collection bucket in the library.  Money accepted to buy cloth diapers (cloth, flat fold).  Quilts  Sew a
64x84 top and it will become a 60x80 quilt when Grace SEW Group resumes in September.  Wrapped
soap  All sizes.  Grace delivers twice a year to the Lutheran World Relief warehouse in S. St.
 Paul—summer and end of the year.  Thank you for your generosity.

Thankoffering Sunday  October 10 at Grace.  This offering goes to national Women of ELCA and
 represents a major portion of their annual budget.  Budgeted goal is $350.00.  Let’s exceed that
 in 2010.
