Sunday School – 10:30am

...The DRAMA CONTINUES....

This year we will learn how God guided His people back to the Promised Land and trained them to trust in Him, as we should trust Him. The lessons hold miracles and drama!

SOMETHING NEW FOR SUNDAY SCHOOL

This year we will have three social events outside of the Sunday School hour.

• The first one will be a Pumpkin Party on October 24th at 6:30.
• Then we will have an Olympic Celebration on February 13th at 2:00.
• On April 16 we will have a Spring Welcome at 6:30.

These events will focus on activities and food = FUN and FELLOWSHIP! The students will be polling ideas to name this social time...so stay tuned!

The Pumpkin party held on October 24th at church was a great success with a turnout of 27 kids. Seeing all the kids, teachers, and volunteers in costume made the night especially festive. We started by trick-or-treating through the Sunday School rooms, then went from room to room participating in cookie decorating, play-doh, decorating gourd pumpkins and boxes of creepy things to feel: warts (raisins), worms (spaghetti), eyeballs ( peeled grapes), and the favorite, brains (Jello) to name a few. Food and drink was provided by the Congregation Life Committee. The Youth had a room they could Wii or Playstation. The night culminated with dancing in the parking lot and Pumpkin Bowling. We want to thank the church for your support.

Joyous Juniors

The Joyous Juniors are in 1st – 6th grades, and we meet from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. every Wednesday.

We will begin meeting again on Wednesday, September 9, 6:30 - 7:30. We not only learn songs to offer as we serve the Lord in Worship, but we also sing for fun, learn music fundamentals, church etiquette, have seasonal parties, and develop friendships. We welcome and encourage all students in Grades 1 - 6 to come and join our team!
